How to rotate PDF pages and save the rotation
1 min read·25 July 2026
A PDF is sideways or upside down and you want to save the rotation permanently — not just in the viewer. With PDFrust you rotate one or more pages and download a corrected PDF that displays correctly everywhere.
Save the rotation in the file
Most PDF viewers have a "rotate" button, but that rotation is not saved in the file — next time it is sideways again. PDFrust saves the rotation permanently: the pages turn and stay that way in the downloaded PDF.
How to rotate pages in PDFrust
Open the rotate tool on PDFrust. Upload your PDF. You see all pages as thumbnails. Click the rotate button (90° left or right) per page, or select multiple pages at once. Click Save and download the corrected PDF.

All pages at once
Have a PDF that is entirely on its side? Select all pages with one click and rotate them 90° or 180°. The corrected PDF is ready in seconds.
