Rotate PDF pages: 90°, 180° or 270°
1 min read·25 July 2026
PDF scanned sideways? Or a document with mixed portrait/landscape pages? PDFrust rotates every page individually or the whole document in one click, free in your browser.
Why rotate PDFs?
Scanned documents sometimes come out in the wrong direction — the scanner reads the sheet differently to how the text is oriented. Smartphone photos are sometimes rotated 90°. Mixed documents (report with landscape attachments) have inconsistent page orientations.
Rotate all pages at once
If the whole document is the wrong way round: use "Rotate all pages 90° clockwise" or "... counter-clockwise". One click adjusts all pages.

Rotate individual pages
In the thumbnail view, select specific pages and choose the rotation direction. This lets you set each page individually in a document with mixed orientations.
Rotation is permanent
The downloaded PDF has the rotation permanently embedded — it's no longer just a "view" setting. This ensures the file displays correctly on every device and in every viewer.
After rotating
Check the rotated PDF in your browser before saving it. If it's not right, rotate again. The tool applies to the file you uploaded, not your original.
