How to rotate a PDF

1 min read·1 July 2026

Is your PDF sideways or upside down? Fix it in a few seconds. PDFrust rotates all pages at once to the orientation you want.

When do you need to rotate a PDF?

This often happens with scanned documents. A scanner sometimes captures a page horizontally when the document is meant to be vertical. The result is a PDF you have to tilt or hold sideways to read.

How do you rotate a PDF?

Drag your PDF onto the rotate page, choose the direction (clockwise 90°, 180° or counter-clockwise 90°), and download the corrected PDF. The rotation applies to all pages at once.

Can I rotate individual pages?

With the organize tool you can remove and rearrange individual pages. For rotating individual pages separately, dedicated PDF editors are needed.

Will I lose quality?

No. The rotation is stored as a metadata value in the PDF file. The content itself is not modified, so there is no quality loss.
