"CONFIDENTIAL", "DRAFT", "COPY" or "APPROVED" — text stamps immediately show the status of a document. With PDFrust's stamp tool you add a stamp to any PDF, in any style.

What do you use a stamp for?

Governments and businesses have used stamps for centuries to indicate the status of documents. Digitally it is no different: a red CONFIDENTIAL stamp, a blue DRAFT text, or a green APPROVED marking communicates instantly without a covering letter.

Stamp vs. watermark

A stamp is large and conspicuous (intended to be seen immediately). A watermark is subtle and transparent (visible but not prominent). For official status markings use the stamp tool. For a background logo or light text shimmering through the content, use the watermark tool.

Make the stamp permanent

Stamp added but want to permanently 'bake' it so it can no longer be removed? Use the flatten tool after stamping. Then the stamp becomes part of the page content and cannot be separated from the document.
