Signing a PDF doesn't have to be complicated. You don't need a printer, scanner or Adobe. PDFrust lets you draw, type or upload your signature and insert it directly into the PDF.
Three ways to sign
PDFrust offers three options: (1) Draw — draw your signature with mouse or finger on a touchscreen. (2) Type — type your name and choose a handwriting font. (3) Upload image — scan your signature on paper, take a photo and upload it.
Is a digital signature legally valid?
In the EU, simple electronic signatures (like a drawn signature in a PDF) are legally valid for most documents under the eIDAS regulation. Exceptions: notarial deeds, wills, mortgage deeds — these require a qualified electronic signature (QES) via a certified provider.

Position it correctly
Drag the signature to the right place on the page. Resize as needed. Make sure the signature sits precisely on the designated line or box.
Initials on multiple pages
Contracts sometimes require initials on every page. Upload your initials as an image and add them to each page that requires it. Use the stamp tool for repeating elements.
Protect after signing
After signing you can protect the document so nobody can change it. Use the flatten tool to permanently embed the signature in the PDF (no separate layer).
