Fill in a PDF form in your browser

1 min read·23 July 2026

Filling in forms in PDF format does not have to be difficult. PDFrust automatically detects the form fields and lets you type text in each field — without installing software or creating an account.

Which forms are supported?

The tool works with standard PDF form fields (AcroForms). These are most forms you download online, such as registration forms, government request forms, or contract templates. Forms that have already been flattened cannot be edited.

How do I fill in a PDF form?

Upload the form, click on a field and start typing. Checkboxes and radio buttons can be clicked. When done, download the completed form. The fields remain editable unless you then use the flatten tool.

Can I also sign the form?

Yes. After filling in you can open the form in the sign tool to add a signature. You can also combine form filling and signing by using both tools in sequence.

What if the form is not recognised?

Some forms look like a PDF but actually only contain images of form fields. In that case you can use the OCR tool to make the text visible and use the stamp tool to place text over the form.
