How to sign a PDF for free

Need to quickly sign a PDF? You can do it directly in your browser, without installing an app or creating an account. PDFrust lets you draw your own signature and place it wherever you want in the document.

How do you sign a PDF?

Upload your PDF, draw your signature with your mouse or finger on a touchscreen, choose the page and position, and download the signed file. The signature is placed as an image in the PDF document.

Is this legally valid?

A drawn or scanned signature has the same status as a handwritten signature on paper, as long as no specific requirements apply. For notarial or other formally legal documents, qualified electronic signatures are often required.

Are my documents stored?

No. The signature is processed locally in your browser and the document never leaves your device. No files are stored on a server.

Can I adjust the signature?

Yes, you can choose the size and position. PDFrust offers three sizes (small, medium, large) and six positions on the page (top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, bottom-right).
