When do you want to mirror a PDF?

Scanned drawings or floor plans are sometimes loaded the wrong way around. Transfer paper or stencils need to be printed mirrored so the text is readable after transfer. In such cases mirroring is the fastest solution.

Horizontal or vertical flip?

Horizontal flipping (left-right) is the most common — like a mirror. Vertical flipping (top-bottom) turns the page upside down as if folding it over a horizontal axis. Both options are available in the tool.

Difference from rotating

Rotating turns a page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Mirroring creates a mirror image. Rotating a page by 180 degrees and flipping it vertically gives a similar visual result, but the underlying operation is different.

Does it work on all pages?

Yes. The tool mirrors all pages of the document at once. If you only want to mirror certain pages, first split the document with the split tool, mirror the desired pages, and then merge the parts together again.
