Adding a photo or logo to an existing PDF can be done in several ways. Learn how to insert and combine images with PDF content.
Convert JPG to PDF
The simplest way to get a photo into a PDF: convert the JPG to a single-page PDF with the JPG to PDF tool on PDFrust. Upload your JPEG photo and download a PDF file. Then merge it with your existing document via the Merge tool.
Combine multiple photos into one PDF
Have multiple photos you want to bundle in one PDF? Upload all JPGs in the JPG to PDF tool and choose multiple images. PDFrust converts all photos into one PDF where each photo becomes a separate page. This is ideal for photo reports, product catalogs or documentation attachments.

PNG with transparent background
PNG images support transparency — ideal for logos and icons. If you want to add a PNG logo to a PDF (e.g. as a watermark or header), use the Watermark tool on PDFrust and upload your transparent PNG. The logo appears over the existing content without a white background.
SVG to PDF
SVG vector files are scalable — they look sharp at any resolution. Use the SVG to PDF tool on PDFrust to convert an SVG illustration or logo to a scalable PDF. Then merge it with your document. Vector graphics in PDF are always sharp, even when printing at A0 size.
File size after adding images
Images make PDFs large quickly. After adding photos: use the Compress tool to reduce file size. Choose the appropriate quality setting: high quality for print, medium quality for digital files. Compressing embedded JPEGs gives the most file reduction.
