A decorative border gives PDF pages a neat finish. Useful for certificates, diplomas, invitations, menus and official documents. PDFrust adds a border to every page.
When to add a border?
Borders are used for: certificates and diplomas (classic double border), menus (decorative border), invitations (elegant line border), official documents that need a professional look, or photo pages in a photo book PDF.
Choose style and width
Choose the border width in points or millimetres, the colour (black, grey, colour) and style (simple, double, dotted). A thin single border (1–2 pt) is subtle; a wider border (10–20 pt) is more prominent.

Border vs stamp vs margins
A border is a visual frame around the page. A stamp is an image or text. Margins are the white space. Combine increasing margins + adding a border for the best visual effect.

Export for print
If you want to have the PDF with border printed, check that the border falls completely within the print area. If the border is too close to the page edge, it may be cut off when trimming after printing.
