Difference from the regular split tool?

The regular split tool lets you select a specific range of pages to keep as one PDF. The split-to-ZIP tool automatically splits all pages into separate files. Use the regular tool for "keep pages 3-7", use split-to-ZIP for "each one separate".

What is the maximum file size?

Since everything is processed in your browser, the limit depends on your device. Large PDFs with many pages may require more memory. If you have problems, first divide the document into smaller chunks using the split tool.
