Types of grid paper

PDFrust supports: square graph paper (traditional school notebook), rectangular grid (for tables), dot grid paper (popular for bullet journaling), lined paper (wide or narrow), logarithmic paper (for graphs), and isometric paper (for 3D drawings).

Set grid size

Choose the cell size of the grid in millimetres: 5 mm (standard school grid), 3.5 mm (small/compact), 10 mm (large, for children). Larger cells are easier to write in; smaller ones fit more content per page.

Paper format and orientation

Generate in A4 portrait (standard), A4 landscape (more width for tables), A5 (compact notebook format), or US Letter. Print as many sheets as you need.

Grid colour

Light grey is the default — subtle enough not to distract. Blue grid is classic school paper. Light blue is popular for bullet journaling. Choose the colour that fits the use.

Bullet journal dot grid

Dot grid is the most popular choice for bullet journals and creative planners. The dots provide structure without the prominent lines of a grid. PDFrust generates dot grid at any desired density.
