Why add a QR code to your PDF?
A QR code in a PDF connects the printed (or digital) document to the online world. Commonly used on: business cards as PDF, flyers, brochures, certificates (verification URL), invoices (payment link), presentations (link to extra material).
What can a QR code contain?
URL (website), email address, phone number, vCard (contact card), Wi-Fi credentials, or plain text. PDFrust supports all common QR code formats. For payments, use the payment URL from your bank or payment provider.

Size and format
A QR code must be large enough to scan — minimum 2×2 cm at 300 DPI on paper. Larger is better for more complex content. Ensure sufficient white space (quiet zone) around the code — minimum 4 modules wide.
Position in the document
Place the QR code in a logical location: bottom right of a business card, top of a brochure, or next to contact details on a flyer. Use the drag-and-drop interface to set the exact position.
Test before sending
Scan the QR code in the downloaded PDF with your phone before sending it. Check the link is correct and the destination loads. Small errors in the URL are hard to spot but break the code.
