PDF guide for photographers and videographers

Photographers create PDF portfolios, send quotes, and sign commissions. With PDFrust you compile professional documents without expensive design software.
Compile a PDF portfolio
Convert your best photos to PDF using the jpg2pdf tool. Arrange them in the desired order. Add a cover page (import as PDF). Combine everything with the merge tool into a smoothly flowing portfolio. Compress the final file for web delivery (max. 10 MB for email).
Format a professional quote
Send quotes as PDF so the formatting is consistent on every screen. Stamp the quote with a validity date. Protect it with an opening password so rates cannot be modified. Sign your own copy digitally with the sign tool.

Commission contract and model release
A commission contract and model release are legally necessary. Create them as fillable PDFs via formFill. Have models and clients sign digitally on a tablet with the sign tool. Finalise the contract with the flatten tool.
Delivery note and invoice
When delivering photos, include a delivery note as a PDF with the project ID and delivery date. Stamp the invoice with "PAID" once payment is received. Merge the invoice and delivery note for the client archive.
Remove metadata from delivered PDFs
PDFs created from Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop sometimes contain metadata with workflow details or camera model. Remove that metadata via the metadata tool before sharing a portfolio PDF with a new client.
