Build an insurance claim dossier from PDFs and photos
1 min read·25 July 2026
Filing an insurance claim requires evidence: photos, receipts, police report, repair quote. PDFrust helps you bundle everything into one organised claim dossier for your insurer.
What the insurer typically needs
Depending on the claim: completed damage report form (fillable PDF), photos of the damage, original purchase receipt or invoice, police report (for theft or accident), repair quote or invoice, and possibly a witness statement.
Convert photos to PDF
Got damage photos as JPG or PNG? Use the jpg2pdf tool to merge them into one photo document. Label each page clearly — page 1 = front, page 2 = rear, etc. — for unambiguous documentation.

Assemble the claim dossier
Merge all documents: (1) completed damage form, (2) photo document, (3) purchase receipts, (4) police report/repair invoice. Use the merge tool and add page numbers. Give the PDF a descriptive filename.
Compress large claim files
High-resolution damage photos can make the PDF very large. Compress the dossier with the compress tool to fall within the insurance portal's file size limit (typically 10–20 MB).
