Remove a selection of pages from PDF in one step

1 min read·25 July 2026

An 80-page report with 30 pages you don't need — removing them one by one is painfully slow. PDFrust lets you select and delete any number of pages in a single operation.

Select pages for deletion

Open the delete tool and upload your PDF. Thumbnail previews of all pages appear. Click pages to mark them for deletion. To select a range, use the range input — e.g. "3-7, 12, 15-20" — and all specified pages are selected at once.

Delete all even or odd pages

Need to remove all even or all odd pages — for example to reduce a double-sided scan to single-sided? Use the evenOdd tool, which handles this automatically without manual selection.

Delete vs. extract

Two approaches: (1) delete pages you do NOT want to keep; (2) use the organize tool to manually select pages you DO want and save only those. For large documents, option 1 is faster when few pages need removing; option 2 is faster when you only need a handful of pages.

The original is safe

Deletion is permanent in the downloaded file, but PDFrust always works on a copy — your original file on your device is never modified. Keep the original in case you need the removed pages later.
