Trim excess margins and white borders from PDFs

Scanned documents and Word-exported PDFs often have wide margins or unnecessary white space around the content. PDFrust's crop and trim tools let you cut away that space and make content larger and easier to read.

When is cropping useful?

Scanned A4 pages with white borders around the content. PDFs made on large paper formats but viewed on small screens. Presentations with wide margins that would look better full-bleed on a display.

Auto-remove whitespace

Don't want to crop manually? The trim-margins tool automatically detects white borders and removes them. It calculates the bounding box of the page content and crops to that boundary.

Watch out when printing

Cropped PDFs lack standard print margins. If you plan to print later, add margins back with the margins tool so content doesn't sit right at the paper edge.
