Invert PDF page sequence: last page becomes first

1 min read·25 July 2026

A scanner that feeds a stack back-to-front produces a reversed PDF. PDFrust's reverse tool flips the complete page sequence in one click — no manual reordering needed.

When to reverse page order

Scanners that pull a stack from the bottom up produce a PDF where the last page scanned is page 1. Double-sided documents scanned in the wrong order. Documents printed in reverse and then scanned.

How to use the reverse tool

Upload your PDF to the reverse tool and click "Reverse". The tool flips the order of all pages: page N becomes page 1, page N−1 becomes page 2, and so on. The result downloads as a new PDF.

Manual reordering

Don't want to flip everything — just move a few pages around? Use the organize tool to drag and drop pages into the desired order. More flexible but slower for large documents.

Double-sided scanning workflow

Scanning double-sided documents with a single-sided scanner? Workflow: (1) scan all front sides as one PDF, (2) scan all back sides as a second PDF, (3) reverse the back-sides PDF with the reverse tool, (4) interleave both PDFs using the merge tool.
