XRD, FTIR, and Raman spectra are often stored as high-resolution images. Compress the PDF so that peak resolution is preserved but the file size is suitable for upload to scientific database platforms.

Securing R&D reports

Research results intended for patent applications must not leak externally. Protect draft R&D reports with edit restrictions and add a confidentiality watermark. Flatten the final version before submission to the patent office.

Linking certificates and standards

Material certificates (mill certificates) are required by customers at delivery. Merge the material certificate, test protocols, and declaration of conformity into one PDF per batch. Stamp the batch with the heat identification number.

OCR-archiving research data

Paper laboratory notebooks contain handwritten measurement values. Scan the pages and apply OCR so temperatures, compositions, and timestamps become digitally searchable for cross-referencing with earlier experiments.
