How to convert HEIC to PDF (iPhone photos)

1 min read·24 July 2026

iPhone photos are saved as HEIC files — great for storage, but not every program or form accepts that format. With PDFrust you convert HEIC files to PDF directly in your browser. No upload, no software, no account.

What is HEIC?

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhones since iOS 11. It compresses images roughly twice as efficiently as JPEG while keeping quality high. The downside: Windows, web forms, and most older software do not recognise HEIC files.

Why convert HEIC to PDF?

PDF is universally accepted — every device, app, and form supports it. Converting your iPhone photos to PDF is ideal when you need to submit documents (passport scan, invoice, receipt) or combine several photos into one file.

How to do it on PDFrust?

Open the "JPG to PDF" tool on PDFrust and drag your HEIC files onto the page. PDFrust automatically detects HEIC, converts them in your browser, and creates a PDF. Everything stays on your device — nothing is sent to a server.

Can I combine multiple HEIC photos?

Yes. Drop multiple HEIC files at once and PDFrust places each photo on a separate page in the PDF, in the order you choose. That way you can easily create a multi-page PDF from a series of iPhone photos.
