Converting a PDF into an editable Word document is one of the most-requested tasks. With PDFrust's text extractor you pull out all the text — ready to paste into Word and edit further. No account, nothing uploaded to a server.
Why convert PDF to Word?
You receive a report, contract, or form as a PDF and want to edit the text. Or you want to reuse content without typing everything again. Extracting the text and pasting it into Word saves a lot of effort.
How to do it with PDFrust
Open the "PDF to text" tool on PDFrust. Upload your PDF and click Convert. The text appears on screen immediately. Copy everything with one click and paste it into a new Word document. Then adjust the formatting as needed.

What is extracted?
All text from the PDF is fully extracted, including columns and paragraphs. Images, tables as graphical elements, and complex layouts are not carried over as editable elements — those need to be rebuilt manually in Word.
Copying table content
Table text is extracted cell by cell. For a neat Word table, copy the content and paste it into an existing table in Word, or use paste-as-text and build the table manually.
