Choosing resolution
The higher the resolution, the sharper but also the larger the file. 72 dpi: for web images (fast loading, not for printing). 150 dpi: good balance for presentations and email. 300 dpi: minimum requirement for quality printing. 600 dpi: only needed for large posters or detail views.
